Kurt Cobain’s death photos will remain unpublished, court rules

On May 15, The Washington Court of Appeals has decided that the photographs from Kurt Cobain’s death will remain unpublished.

The court decision is that releasing the photographs will “violate the singer family’s trial rights under the 14th Amendment”… and are also spared from the Washington State’s Public Records Act (PRA). His wife Courtney Love and his daughter filed testimonies to keep the photographs unpublicized. The decision comes after the journalist Richard Lee from Seattle appealed the case’s dismissal. Lee wanted to release 55 photos to prove that the musician Kurt Cobain did not die from suicide in 1994. Instead, somebody killed the frontman of Nirvana band and singer.
