Jay-Z visits the SEC Office in New York For Deposition
On 15 May, photos appeared with Jay-Z entering an office of Securities and Exchange Commission in Manhattan, NY.
Jay-Z was scheduled to answer the questions of SEC investigators as their probe of the Iconix Brand Group. In 2007 the brand management company, Iconix Brand Group, bought assets of Jay-Z’s Rocawear clothing brand.
To get the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder to answer the questions, the SEC office had to go to court, and a federal judge ordered Jay-Z to give a deposition last week. His lawyers said they don’t believe Jay-Z has any important information to share with SEC.
