Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, famously known as Shakira, is a Colombian singer-dancer, and songwriter born on 2 February 1977 in Barranquilla ( Colombia).
Shakira’s dad is from Lebanon, and her mother is a Spanish-Italian. In 1990 at only 13 years old, Shakira signed with Sony Music Colombia and recorded her first album titled “Magia”.
