Due to its amazing first week sales, “Fijación Oral, Vol.1” broke the record for the highest-debut ever of a Spanish language album on the chart. To promote the album, Shaki released 4 singles: “La Tortura,” “Las de la Intuición,” “No,” and “Día de Enero.” Shakira Mebarak smashed her 2nd World Record, thanks to the lead single “La Tortura” which spent 25 weeks atop the Hot Latin Single chart. The single also won the award for The Hottest Latin Song Of The Year at the BMAs. Thanks to a posted photo from the 2014 Fifa World Cup, Shakira was named the earth’s most liked person on Facebook. Overall, Shakira ranks at #7 after Coca-Cola, Samsung, Real Madrid CF, Facebook, and FC Barcelona.
