Ed Sheeran is first artist with two song to Top the Billboard AC
Ed Sheeran scored the “perfect” chart record becoming the first artist with two No.1 songs on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart that each ruled for at least 20 weeks.
“Perfect” the third song from Sheeran’s 2017 album, ÷ (Divide), follows the lead single “Shape of You,” which was No.1 for 24 weeks and is the second-longest reign on the Adult Contemporary chart in its 57-year history, being surpassed only by “Drift Away” – Uncle Kracker with 28 weeks.
