‘See You Again’ Became Most-Viewed Youtube Video Ever

The official music video of “See You Again” set a new world record for The Most-Watched Youtube Video of All Time, interrupting the five years reign of “Gangnam Style.”

On 10th July 2017, the Hip-pop ballad “See You Again,” smashed the record for the most-viewed youtube video ever, however, his reign ended quickly when on 4 August was surpassed by Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito.”

“See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, is an emotional song that serves as a tribute for the American actor, Paul Walker, who lost his life instantly in a terrible car crash on 20 November 2013. Paul Walker is famous worldwide for his role as Brian O’Conner in The Fast and the Furious series.

The song “See You Again” soundtracked the movie Fast and Furious 7, while its music video features the last scenes of Walker from the film.
As of December 2019, the music video “See You Again” has gathered 4.32 billion Youtube views.
