Demi Lovato thanks fans, after the release of Sober song

Artists

Yesterday, on June 27, Demi Lovato posted a video with a short message to thanks her fans for their support following the release of her profoundly personal song ‘Sober.’

The single seems to be a reference to Demi’s sobriety. In March, Demi Lovato had celebrated maintaining six years of sobriety, and ‘Sober’ may be the most vulnerable side of Demi that we’ve seen thus far. She was always open about her struggles with drugs, and alcohol addictions, bipolarity, eating disorder and underwent rehab at age 18 in 2010.

“To my fans, my family, and my supporters, the ones who never left me, you are my light. I am forever grateful,” Demi wrote on Instagram alongside a short video with her, performing the single on stage at a concert.
