Ed Sheeran became the world’s highest-earning solo musician, according to Forbes, after earning more than £80 million in 2017.
Ed Sheeran is the highest-earning solo singer, after jumping 62 places in last year, according to Forbes Celebrity 100. He surpassed solo musicians as Katty Perry, which increased her fortune by £62 million, and Taylor Swift, who score an estimated £60 million.‘Shape of you’ singer Ed Sheeran came ninth overall in the top world’s best-paid celebrities.
The good news came after it was revealed that Sheeran has missed out on £20 million in royalties from song Shape Of You. The cause being a complaint by a songwriter Sam Chokri, who claimed that the last 2017’s best selling single is a copy of his 2015 track “Oh Why,” and he won a ruling from the Performing Rights Society.Read More:
