ACM Awards 2018: The Full List of Winners
Reba Nell McEntire hosted the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards ceremony at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 15.
Nominations were announced on 1st March 2018, and before the ACMs telecast, the winners of four categories were announced.
On 13th April, one night before the ceremony, the fourth winner was announced. Rhett Akins won the Songwriter of the Year, and with 6 nominations, it was the second most nominated artist.
Chris Stapleton had the most nominations (8) and won two prizes: The Male Vocalist of the Year, and Album of the Year for From A Room: Volume 1.
The host, Reba McEntire, interrupted the ceremony to reveal the biggest surprise of the evening, Chris Stapleton’s wife Morgane had just given birth to their twin boys.
