Tenacious D Announces New Album & First US Tour in 5 Years
On Tuesday, the comedy rock duo Tenacious D, encompassing Jack Black and Kyle Gass, announced their first North American tour since 2013. The tour is set to start on June 16 in Québec and finish up on Nov. 13 in Chicago.
The announcement of the upcoming album was made in a typical Tenacious D style. They released a short video presenting an animated sketch of Glass and Black discussing, and trying to find methods to pay the rent while hinting at a new album and confirming their 10-date jaunt to solve their problem.- Their new album is coming after 5 years from the last one released, Rise of the Fenix.
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 18 at 10 a.m.
