Miley Cyrus’s Guinness World Records

Music World Records

The child star Hannah Montana, known in the music industry as Miley Cyrus, holds the world record for most searched Popstar.

Miley Cyrus smashed her first world record at the age of 23, after her controversial performance with Robin Thicke at the VMAs 2013. A few hours before her performance, Miley released “Wrecking Ball” as the 2nd single from her fourth album, Bangerz

Soon after the release of its video, “Wrecking Ball” became Miley’s first #1 single on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The music video was the subject of controversy, due to the scenes where Miley is swinging naked on a wreaking ball.

However, this helped “Wrecking Ball” video to gain more than 19 million views on its first day, breaking the Vevo-record for the most views in 24 hours.
