Balvin Meets Rihanna For First Time After His Sexist Comment

Artists

At the end of March, the colombian reggaeton singer, Jose Balvin made a sexist comment about Rihanna in a “Fuck, Marry, Kill” game in a YouTube show hosted by SirKazzio, a portuguese vlogger.

The Latin star clearly said that the Barbados Babe is not the perfect candidate for marriage: “Rihanna isn’t a good woman to marry, just fool around.” Watch J Balvin’s comments about Riri below at 4:20.

Quickly the comment made headlines and raise the entire Navy army against Balvin. But let’s skip forward to present on June 21, when the ‘Mi Gente’ singer met Rihanna for the first time, during Paris Fashion Week 2018. Of excitement, he even uploaded a video on his Instagram with their hilarious meeting:

‘I always dreamed of meeting her I’m a fan and I even got scared I felt intimidated..This woman takes my breath away. She’s on another level and I look shy and so dumb’ he wrote.
The big question is: Did Riri hear about his sexist comment. If we judge from her reactions, yes she knows about Balvin’s comment, it’s obvious there was tension during that cheek kiss, and you could tell that Riri wasn’t going to give him more than 1 second from her precious time, no selfies, nada para ti Balvin. Probably there will never be a recording collaboration between them but who knows?!. Let’s hope Riri will give him a chance, for the sake of music art!
