At the age of 18, Taylor Alison Swift scored her first World Record when it became the first solo musician with most entries on the US Top 20.  One year later, she became the youngest singer to be named Entertainer of the Year, and her second album Fearless became the best selling of 2009.
  • Swift is the first musician to notch up most million-selling weeks on TOP Albums 200, this being one of her most tremendous achievements.
  • The single ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ set four records in its first seven days, and the track song ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” set the record the fastest-selling digital single ever on iTune.

Most entries in the US Top 20 in a year by a solo music artist

  • In 2008, Taylor Alison Swift had six songs entering the Top 20 in their first seven days on the Hot 100 chart.
The hit singles came from her second album named after its lead single “Fearless” and which is the most awarded album in the history of country music. The other five songs are :
“Love Story,” “You Belong With Me,” “White Horse,” “You’re Not Sorry” and “Change.”

Swift is The Youngest Artist to win CMA’s ”Entertainer of the year” (2009).

  • At 19 years old, Taylor Swift became the youngest musician to receive the Country Music Association’s highest trophy, Entertainer of the Year.
Fearless is the best selling album of 2009 in the USA after it sold over 3.2 million copies, so Taylor became the youngest singer to achieve this. With Fearless, at the age of 20, Alison Swift became the youngest artist ever to win the Grammy Trophy for Album of the year.

“Today Was A Fairytale” was ranked as The Fastest-selling US digital download by a female artist.

At the beginning of February 2010, Swifty smashed the record for the US biggest first-week download sales by a female musician. She achieved this mark with the country-pop song, “Today Was A Fairytale” which debuted at #1 on The Digital Songs chart and sold 325,000 digital copies.
  • The previous holder of the record was Britney Spears with her song “Womanizer.”

Her third album ‘Speak Now’ broke 2 Music Records.

  • The Fastest-selling US digital album by a female artist. The country-pop album, Speak Now by Swift, set a new record for Fastest-selling digital album in the US by a female musician, after selling 278,000 digital copies in its first week.
  • The Fastest-selling US album by a female country singer.  In October 2010, Swift released her third album which, sold per total 1,047,000 copies in the US,(769,000 physical CDs and 278,000 digital) in seven days.  By doing so, Speak Now smashed the record for the biggest first-week sales tally for an album by a female country singer, overthrowing Shania Twain’s Up!

Swift scored The Most Top Ten Debuts on the Hot 100 chart.

In 2010, the pop singer Taylor Swift became the first and only musician to have seven of her songs enter in Top Ten of the Hot 100 chart. The singles are.

 Taylor Swift held the record for The Most Simultaneous Hot 100 Songs by a Female.

In November 2010, Taylor secured a new record for the Most Simultaneous US Hot 100 hits by a female artist, after scoring 11 songs from which 10 of those singles are marking their chart debut. In 2016, Beyonce surpassed Taylor Swift’s record, when it scored 12 simultaneous songs all coming from her sixth album, Lemonade.

The first artist to have singles enter in the TOP 10 of Hot 100 in successive weeks.

On 14 August 2012, Taylor Swift’s bubblegum pop song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” broke the world record for the iTune fastest-selling digital single.
  • In 50 minutes since its release on the giant media application, the song climbed to No.1 on the singles sales chart.
  • The lead single of Swift’s Red album reached No.1 approximately two hours faster than “Born this Way” by Lady Gaga.
  • Five days later, Taylor broke the record for the biggest digital sales week ever for a song by a woman, with 623,000 sold copies. The single “WANEGBT” is currently on the third spot overall.

The pop sensation, Taylor Swift and the Scottish musician Calvin Harris, together have earned a combined of $146 million (£94.2 million) from June 2014 to June 2015.
